The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Indian River Chapter presents a dedication ceremony upon completion of the WWII Tribute Memorial in honor of America's Greatest Generation on Veterans Memorial Island Sanctuary in Vero Beach, featuring soprano, Lisa Eden. The newly constructed permanent roster on the island, centrally located, will hold all future veteran ceremonies.

Join us under the stars at the John Anson Ford Amphitheater for the world premiere of Grammy Award winning composer/arranger, Victor Vanacore’s, La Sorgente, a collection of 10 neoclassical arias based on the poetry of St. Pope John Paul II. The 10 poems featured in the 90-minute La Sorgente come from Pope John Paul’s book of meditations, “Trittico Romano: Meditazioni,” “The Roman Triptych: Meditations,” which are widely regarded as his spiritual last testament. Vanacore has been at the forefront of classical and pop music for more than 30 years. He’s worked closely with The Jackson Five and Ray Charles, among many others.

LA Opera artists, Lisa Eden, Melissa Treinkman, and Jamie Chamberlain, join Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre to preview a new work, Beyond the Waterfront, with a one-night-only public performance. The performance marks the first time immersive art has come to the Los Angeles Maritime Institute’s twin Tall Ships in San Pedro and a new collaboration between HDDT, LA Opera, Los Angeles Maritime Institute, and marine research incubator, AltaSea. A dance opera story of sirens and sailors on the ships and the wharf, Beyond the Waterfront pays homage to the late Leonard Bernstein with a multi-sensory work that tackles themes of collaboration, sustainability, and the influence of humanity on environment.
